C and E

C loves to teach. I overheard her talking to E. She was showing E different colors and letters and numbers. She said, "E, here is a bird. Bird begins with the letter B. The letter B makes the "b" sound. And here is a lion. ROAR. Lion begins with the letter L."

She's such a great big sis.

A's Summer Do

I cut A's hair for the first time. I need a lot more training before I master the boy trim. I thought I did a decent job with the scissors, but Andy gently suggested a buzz indicating I didn't do as well as I thought. Oops. But I like the buzz cut, and it's certainly easier!

Haircuts

It's all gone. I chopped off the girls' hair. Now I have the rest of the week to continue tweaking the look with little trims here and there. I'm hoping to continue to learn through trial and error before they understand what's going on and demand more a more skilled stylist.

Scooter

More and more E is enjoying her time on the floor. She's slowly transitioning from torture tummy time to play time. But it's getting more and more difficult to keep her on her blanket. She's a scooter. And the "Nana" shirt from our surprise birthday visit is still in use.

Driving Lessons?!

Andy enjoys bonding with A. He does things with his son that he never did with the girls. Like this ... yes, they are in the street! Andy needed to move the car from parked on the side of the street to the driveway. It didn't require a trip up and down the road with the windows down, but it sure looks like lots of fun!

Peek a Boo

E has learned how to pull the cover away from the side of her bassinet so she can sneak a peek. She scoots to the top corner and looks through. This is how I find her in the mornings.
