Trick or treating with the kids was lots of fun. It was a little strange. I felt weird sending my kids to knock on some stranger's front door to beg for candy. Still feel a little weird about this tradition. But, it was fun.
That is one ticked off little boy. All he knew is that we weren't "owside" yet. He had no clue what we were about to do, but he's like the dog that freaks out when you say outside. He was ready to go!
We had to put our candy on the front porch with a sign since we were all out walking. The sign said, "The trick is on you. We're not home. Treat yourself!"
This was the view we saw house after house. C and M leading the pack, racing for the next house. J attempting to keep up, with A bringing up the rear.
Watch out for Thug Monkey! He just might steal your candy.
When we made it back to our driveway, I allowed each of the kids to choose 2 pieces of candy. They were thrilled! What fun! How many more of these candy fest nights do we have?!
