Sno-Cones!

There's nothing better than a sno-cone to help beat the summer heat. Thanks Dad! What a great idea!

New Bed Pronto!

I'm guessing that this is E's way of communicating she's tired of sleeping in the bassinet. I went to get her out of bed this morning and found this. Somehow she managed to take the sheet off the mattress and then position herself under the mattress. Yeah, the bassinet is already out of her room. I'm afraid her next communication of choice will be climbing out of the thing!

BIRD!

The kids and I were walking out the door to load up in the truck. We didn't even notice the bird until we were within kissing distance! The young bird was so scared (and dumb), it didn't know how to fly away.

I called Andy, and he came to our rescue.

The Slide

Today was the last day of swim school. I am so proud of my girls. All three of them pushed themselves this week, and it paid off. We've had our share of fearful tears, but they really pulled through strong. I didn't expect all three of them to do so well. Way to go ladies!

They have been eyeing the slide for 2 weeks, and today they got to experience it. They loved it!

E poos ...

... all over the place. We were sitting at the table, eating dinner. E was doing her jumperoo thing. Then Andy noticed her facial expressions. He said, "I think she's pooing. She's got the look." I said, "We'll see."
Well he was right. After dinner, I stood up to see this. Yes, that's poo dripping from her bottom, down her leg, onto the floor. When she goes, she GOES.

A Swims!

He couldn't stand it any longer. He just had to get in that water! Actually, the swim teacher just had to get her hands on him. She playfully asked A if he wanted to get in. He raised him arms, stood up, and grunted. Of course he wanted to get in!
I released him from the stroller and he walked to where the big kids had been jumping in. He jumped in and sank like a brick, straight to the bottom. But that didn't bother him. He wanted to do it again, and again, and again.

Beach Trip

Another Friday trip to the beach, but today we had special visitors! Grandma and Grandpa came with us! The kids had a blast covering Grandma with water and sand. I don't think she was expecting to get quite so wet and dirty, but it was well worth it.
