Someone got to go to big church on Sunday!
Last week C couldn't get her mind off of church. She kept asking us if she could please go to the worship service to listen to Dad preach. We brushed the idea aside, not saying yes or no, expecting her to forget about it and drop the idea. But she didn't. And as she continued to talk about it - even up to an hour before church began - we decided to give it a go.
And she loved it! The drive home was dominated with her explanations of the sermon. She read her notes, and told us all what Daddy had talked about. She shared how much fun she had, and begged to do it again. I couldn't wait to get home to talk with Andy to get the real report of her behavior. But he had nothing but praises for his little girl. He said she sang when she was supposed to sing, was quiet and took notes during the sermon, and was a great encouragement to him as he preached.
Our little girl is growing up.
