Donuts for Dad

For Father's Day at church last Sunday, we had Donuts for Dad.
The Hospitality Team worked so hard to transfer the lobby of the theater into a chic eatery, and it was fabulous! The kids were thrilled to spend a little extra time with Dad ... and the donuts pushed the experience over the top.

New Art!

Thanks to my little artists, we have some new art to hang on the walls!
The kids are super thrilled to have their masterpieces displayed in the living room.
We plan to spotlight different pieces periodically. We have plenty of options.
And who knows, they just may be for sale one day. Anyone??

Little Artists

The kids LOVE to paint, but it's certainly not the easiest activity for Mom to prepare/clean-up. A little invested time, some yarn and clothespins, and we've got always-ready paint time!
The best part - no spills to clean! Paint away my little artists!

Beat the Heat!

South Louisiana summer heat - YIKES!! This is how we beat the heat. Each summer we get 2 inflatable pools. (Compliments of Wal-Mart.) One pool is reserved for the babies (ie E and R this summer), and the other pool is watch out, run and fun, splash mania, hope it doesn't pop craziness. The kids have a blast, and it really does help all of us to enjoy the hot weather. Shhh … Mom slips into the baby pool from time to time.
